Nordic Literature 1999
This year's issue features a number of essays about the period
1993-1999, "Seven years in the Nordic countries".
Nordic Literature 1999 also takes a modern look at authors
from the turn of last century: August Strindberg, Georg Brandes,
Ellen Key, Knut Hamsun. And last but not least: it reviews
books from 1998, with a focus on the work of Pia Tafdrup,
winner of the Nordic Councils's Literature Prize.
